Recruiting Spotlight Week 1: O.J. Mayo & Lebron James
The two hottest names on the recruiting trail are not even seniors in high school, in fact, one is in middle school! O.J. Mayo, a 6'-4" SEVENTH GRADER from Rose Hill High School in Ashland , Kentucky, and Lebron James, a 6'-7" junior from S.V.S.M. High School in Akron, Ohio are making waves heard around the country. Mayo, a seventh grader starting on the varsity team is avereging 22 points per game, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals! Are you kidding me? Thats unheard of for a kid of his age, even if he were doin it against middle schoolers! His praises are being sung by everyone from opposing coaches to University of Kentucky Coach Tubby Smith. O.J. even had an artical "The Legend of Rose Hill" written about him on the front page sports of the Courier Journal. He's rated #1 in his class nationally, and is destined down the path to becoming a Mcdonalds All American.KingCat rates this kid an A+.
Lebron James is the guy you've been hearing about as possibly being the first junior to declare for the draft...but word from him is thats not going to happen, he will be back for his senior year, and then straight to the pros. KingCat rates this recruit an A+.
